All the while she laughs and makes me laugh knowing that it's not really important whether I actually pull off the pose or not.

Every date and time here is an invitation, find the one that meets you where you are today.
She holds and anchors class in a firm yet gentle way. Her presence to the universal thread and theme amongst us all is a gift. I am grateful to be practicing with her weekly through life's big and little transitions.
Valerie's passion for yoga shines through, and her ability to create a peaceful, welcoming environment even in a virtual setting is impressive.
I love moving with her and learning from her. A perfect way to spend some time feeling into gratitude.
Valerie was one of the people that made me really fall hard for yoga and it is a joy and a privilege to practice with her.

Each and every one of Valerie's classes feels like the best class I've ever taken. I'm always left in an uplifted physical, mental and emotional state which begins from the very moment she appears on the Zoom screen and lasts into the coming days.
I’ve taken over 400 of Valerie’s classes, and each one offers something new. Whether I’m stressed or just need to reset, her classes always bring comfort and inspiration. Valerie weaves life’s lessons and personal stories into every flow, making each practice feel special. I’m deeply grateful for her warmth, creativity, and the sense of community she’s built. Practicing with Valerie feels like coming home.
Valerie themes her live classes from poignant yet everyday and personal and universal experiences that she masterfully weaves throughout her entire class. Her sequences and cuing are fascinating and fantastic. I am in awe of how she continually creates new transitions with repetition of poses that build upon each other.
Valerie's classes are wonderful. She has a gift for bringing in personal yet universal themes and integrating them into both well-constructed and intuitive, creative, space-making practices. Her classes are unique, thought-provoking and heart-centered; sometimes complemented by a spontaneous gleeful sense of humor, all of which create an inviting atmosphere that encourages curiosity and inner exploration.
I’ve been taking Val’s yoga classes for 10 years, and she still amazes me—she just knows exactly what my body needs. Her classes have prepped me for ultra marathons, helped me bounce back from injuries, and kept me strong. Whether in person or online, the connection is real. Can’t recommend her enough!
Valerie's yoga classes are deeply empathic, inspiring and invigorating. Her voice and cues help you connect to the space and your body. Her class themes resonate deeply to help you get back in connection and her sequencing is creative and keeps classes exciting and fun.
Val has a gift for seeing straight to the heart of things and charting the course with magical, accessible practices. She has helped me navigate big life transitions with genuine compassion, deep wisdom and wholehearted presence. Every sequence she crafts feels personal yet universal and alive with truth, authenticity and expansiveness.
The moment I had my first class with Val, I was hooked. Everything she does, from her observations, to her stories, to her readings, to her movements, is utterly magical, so thoughtful how it all flows together and brings the full yoga experience to one's practice. The only good thing about the pandemic, was that I was able, again, to practice with her (if you aren't in Portland, her Livestream and video collection is incredible).
